Berlin photo booth.
The final frame, where I’m ducking out, is as true as any other. When we were kids, Mom would once in a while line up her four girls, oldest to youngest (me), outside the house for a photo once we were home from Sunday School (good clothes, you know). In at least one, the space where I ought to be is empty. In another, I’m a blur running out of the picture.

I’m happy to visit libraries, high schools, university classes, book clubs, and reading venues of all sorts, in person, by Zoom, or by Skype.
